About Dr. Gerard Rainer
Dr. Rainer is a Podiatrist at Foothills Foot Care Center located in Greenville, SC. He is Board Certified in foot surgery by the American Board of Foot & Ankle Surgery.

Dr. Rainer graduated from the New York College of Podiatric Medicine in NYC. He completed a surgical residency at St. Joseph's Hospital, a division of the Catholic Medical Center of Brooklyn and Queens.

Dr. Rainer has been practicing Podiatry in Greenville since the year 2001.
​
He was the first doctor in Greenville to perform Ossatron shockwave and was featured on WYFF doing this treatment for Plantar Fasciitis. He was the first doctor in the Upstate to do in office radial pressure wave for Plantar Fasciitis. He has recently added Class IV Laser therapy and combines it with the radial pressure wave treatments!
When not at work Dr. Rainer enjoys hiking and reading as well as spending time with his family and 3 dogs.
